Let yourself free

You must have had a good dream some night. When you were in dream you didn’t know it was a dream.. you didn’t do many things you wanted to do, as you were worried of what ‘others’ will say.. or you thought you were not ‘supposed’ to do so being a social animal.. or probably you yourself made some ‘rules’ to restrict yourself! When you woke up in the morning you regretted.. that it was just a dream.. and thus YOU MUST have DONE whatever you wanted.. as the dream and the people inside were imaginary, so were the ‘suppositions’ and the ‘rules’. What was real was the dissatisfaction you had after coming out of the dream. Would you want to regret in the same manner after you die?

The question is how do you differentiate between a dream and reality? Think about it.. as long as you are in a dream, for you that IS a real world. For you.. you are you.. you can feel pain, you feel happiness, you eat, and you do everything as you do in the (so called) real world. You don’t know that the people around you doesn’t exist actually, because you can’t be ‘them’.. i.e. you can not go inside their body to check whether they exists or not, but you believe they do. And this belief becomes extinct as soon as you are awake. How we can say that where we are living(?) is actually a ‘real’ world? How do you know people around you actually exists? If you say you can feel them, you can touch them, you can talk to them.. so that is possible in your dream too! Wouldn’t it not be wrong to imagine that we are actually in a dream of our self or in a dream of somebody else. May be something else unimagined is ‘reality’.. or probably there is no concept of ‘reality’ and ‘imagination’.. probably all these are just perceptions! May be we get to know more about this existing(?) world after we die..

So won’t it be reasonable to live the life(whatever it is), before we wake up, as much as we can.. without any limitations of socially imposed rules, thoughts, opinions bla bla bla .. lets do every thing giving pleasure this moment.. who knows next moment we might wake up !! Lets carry a sense of satisfaction with the eternal soul(or whatever which is alive after this life).
